Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26920

Hanad narrated to us, Abu Muawiyah narrated to us, on the authority of Asim Al-Ahwal, on the authority of Abu Uthman Al-Nahdi, on the authority of Abu Dharr, he said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said.” Whoever fasts three days of every month, that is the fasting of eternity. Then God Almighty revealed the confirmation of that in His Book: (Whoever brings a good deed will have ten times it.) Today is ten days. Abu Issa said this is a good hadith. He narrated Shu’bah of this hadith, on the authority of Abu Shimr and Abu al-Tayyah, on the authority of Abu Uthman, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
