Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #26921

Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, Abu Dawud told us, Shu`bah told us, on the authority of Yazid al-Rashk, he said: I heard Mu’adhah, she said: I told Aisha Did the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, fast three days of every month? She said, “Yes.” I said, “How did he fast?” She said, “He did not care who.” He fasted. Abu Issa said, “This is a hasan and authentic hadith.” He said, “Yazid al-Rishk is Yazid al-Dhabi’i, and he is Yazid bin al-Qasim, and he is Yazid bin al-Qasim. Al-Qassam and Al-Rishk are Al-Qassam in the language of the people of Basra.
