Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27176

Abu Kurayb told us, Abu Muawiyah told us, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Bakr, on the authority of Ibn Abi Mulaika, on the authority of Aisha, she said when The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was arrested. They disagreed about his burial, so Abu Bakr said, “I heard from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, something that I have not forgotten.” He said, “What?” God has captured a prophet, except in the place where he would like to be buried. “Bury him in the place of his bed.” Abu Issa said: This is a hadith. It is strange. And Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Bakr al-Mulaiki is weakened due to its memorization. This hadith was narrated from another source. So he narrated it Ibn Abbas, on the authority of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, also on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
