Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27198

Abu Kurayb narrated to us, Abdah bin Sulaiman narrated to us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Amr, Abu Salama narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, the Messenger of God said, May God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “Whoever prays at a funeral gets a qirat, and whoever follows it until its burial is completed gets two qirats, one of them or the smaller of them.” Like Uhud. So I mentioned that to Ibn Umar, so he sent to Aisha and asked her about that, and she said, Abu Hurairah has spoken the truth. So Ibn said: Omar, we have overlooked many points. And on the subject, on the authority of Al-Baraa, Abdullah bin Mughaffal, Abdullah bin Masoud, Abu Sa’id, and Ubayy Ibn Ka'b, Ibn Umar, and Thawban. Abu Issa said that the hadith of Abu Hurairah is a good and authentic hadith. It was narrated from him through more than one authority.
