حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو السَّوَّاقُ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْيَمَانِ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَخَلَ قَبْرًا لَيْلاً فَأُسْرِجَ لَهُ سِرَاجٌ فَأَخَذَهُ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْقِبْلَةِ وَقَالَ
" رَحِمَكَ اللَّهُ إِنْ كُنْتَ لأَوَّاهًا تَلاَّءً لِلْقُرْآنِ " . وَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَيَزِيدَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَهُوَ أَخُو زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَكْبَرُ مِنْهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ . وَقَدْ ذَهَبَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ إِلَى هَذَا وَقَالُوا يُدْخَلُ الْمَيِّتُ الْقَبْرَ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْقِبْلَةِ . وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ يُسَلُّ سَلاًّ . وَرَخَّصَ أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ فِي الدَّفْنِ بِاللَّيْلِ .
Abu Kurayb and Muhammad ibn Amr al-Siwaq told us, they said: Yahya ibn al-Yaman told us, on the authority of al-Minhal ibn Khalifa, on the authority of al-Hajjaj ibn Artat, on the authority of Ata, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered a grave at night and a lamp was lit for it, so he took it facing the qiblah. And he said, “May God have mercy on you, if you were slow in reciting the Qur’an.” And he said “Allahu Akbar” for it four times. He said, “And on the authority of Jabir and Yazid bin Thabit, who is the older brother of Zayd bin Thabit. Abu Issa said: The hadith of Ibn Abbas is a hasan hadith. Some of the people of Science goes to this And they said that the dead person enters the grave facing the qiblah. Some of them said that he is placed in a basket. Most of the people of knowledge permitted burial at night. .
