Yusuf bin Issa narrated to us, he said, Waki’ narrated to us, he said, Israel narrated to us, on the authority of Samak bin Harb, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that A man came as a Muslim at the time of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, then his wife came as a Muslim, and he said, O Messenger of God, she had converted to Islam with me. He returned it to me. He returned it to him. This is an authentic hadith. I heard Abd bin Humaid saying, I heard Yazid bin Harun, mentioning on the authority of Muhammad bin Ishaq, this hadith and the hadith of Al-Hajjaj on the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, returned his daughter Zainab to Abu Al-Asi with a new dowry and a new marriage. Yazid bin Harun said: The hadith of Ibn Abbas is of the best chain of transmission. And to act on the hadith. Amr bin Shuaib.
