حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَبَّانُ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ هِلاَلٍ أَبُو حَبِيبٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ الأَعْوَرُ الْمُقْرِئُ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ مُوسَى الْقَارِئُ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ الْخِرِّيتِ، عَنْ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ، قَالَ دَفَعَ إِلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم دِينَارًا لأَشْتَرِيَ لَهُ شَاةً فَاشْتَرَيْتُ لَهُ شَاتَيْنِ فَبِعْتُ إِحْدَاهُمَا بِدِينَارٍ وَجِئْتُ بِالشَّاةِ وَالدِّينَارِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَذَكَرَ لَهُ مَا كَانَ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ
" بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ فِي صَفْقَةِ يَمِينِكَ " . فَكَانَ يَخْرُجُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ إِلَى كُنَاسَةِ الْكُوفَةِ فَيَرْبَحُ الرِّبْحَ الْعَظِيمَ فَكَانَ مِنْ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ مَالاً .
Ahmad bin Saeed Al-Darimi told us, Hibban told us, and he is Ibn Hilal Abu Habib Al-Basri, Harun Al-Awar Al-Muqri told us, and he is Ibn Musa Al-Qaari, Al-Zubayr bin Al-Kharit narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Labid, on the authority of Urwa Al-Bariqi, he said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was given to me.” He (peace and blessings of God be upon him) asked me for a dinar to buy him a sheep. So I bought two sheep for him, sold one of them for a dinar, and brought the sheep and the dinar to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. So he mentioned it to him. Whatever was his matter, he said to him, “May God bless you in your oath deal.” After that, he would go out to the church. Kufa and he made a huge profit, and he was one of the richest people of Kufa.
