حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَحْوَهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَيْهِ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ ‏.‏
Ibn Abi Umar narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Zakaria, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi, on the authority of Adi bin Hatim, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the like. Abu Issa said: This is an authentic hadith, and it is acted upon according to the people of knowledge.
