Muhammad bin Yahya al-Quti’ narrated to us, Abd al-A’la narrated to us, on the authority of Sa’id, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of al-Sha’bi, on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, that a man, He caught one or two rabbits from his people, slaughtered them with a claw, and hung around with them until he met the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and asked him what he ordered. By eating them both. He said, and on the authority of Muhammad bin Safwan, Rafi’ and Adi bin Hatim. Abu Issa said, some of the people of Knowledge is to purify oneself with bitterness, and they did not see anything wrong with eating a rabbit, and this is the opinion of most people of knowledge, and some of them disliked eating. The rabbit The companions of Al-Sha’bi differed in narrating this hadith. Dawud ibn Abi Hind narrated on the authority of Al-Sha’bi on the authority of Muhammad ibn Safwan. And Asim narrated The more reliable on the authority of Al-Shabi, on the authority of Safwan bin Muhammad or Muhammad bin Safwan. Muhammad bin Safwan is more correct. Jabir Al-Ju’fi narrated on the authority of Al-Shu’bi on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah is similar to the hadith of Qatada on the authority of Al-Shu’bi, and it is possible that Al-Shu’bi’s narration is on their authority. Muhammad said the hadith of Al-Shu’bi On the authority of Jabir, not preserved
