حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الأَفْرِيقِيِّ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ أَكْلِ الْمُجَثَّمَةِ وَهِيَ الَّتِي تُصْبَرُ بِالنَّبْلِ . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ وَأَنَسٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَجَابِرٍ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ .
Abu Kurayb told us, Abd al-Rahim bin Sulayman told us, on the authority of Abu Ayyub al-Afriqi, on the authority of Safwan bin Sulaym, on the authority of Sa`id bin al-Musayyab, On the authority of Abu al-Darda’, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, forbade eating al-Mujathamatha, which is the one that is stabbed with arrows. He said, and in the chapter On the authority of Irbad bin Sariyah, Anas, Ibn Omar, Ibn Abbas, Jabir, and Abu Hurairah. Abu Issa said the hadith of Abu al-Darda’ is a strange hadith.
