Hadith #27642
وَرَوَى مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ صَيْفِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي السَّائِبِ، مَوْلَى هِشَامِ بْنِ زُهْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ قِصَّةٌ . حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ . وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ وَرَوَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلاَنَ عَنْ صَيْفِيٍّ نَحْوَ رِوَايَةِ مَالِكٍ .
Malik bin Anas narrated this hadith on the authority of Saifi, on the authority of Abu Al-Sa’ib, the client of Hisham bin Zahra, on the authority of Abu Sa’id, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. The hadith is a story. Al-Ansari narrated this to us, Ma’n narrated to us, Malik narrated to us. This is more authentic than the hadith of Ubayd Allah ibn Umar. Muhammad bin Ajlan narrated on the authority of Saifi, similar to the narration of Malik.
