Muhammad ibn Umar ibn al-Walid al-Kindi al-Kufi narrated to us, and Abu Kurayb and Muhammad ibn Rafi’ narrated to us. They said: Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, on the authority of a partner, on the authority of Ammar means Al-Dahni, on the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered Mecca while his banner was white. Abu said Jesus, this is a strange hadith. We only know it from the hadith of Yahya bin Adam, on the authority of Sharik. He said, “I asked Muhammad about this hadith, but he did not know it.” Except for the hadith of Yahya bin Adam, on the authority of Sharik, and he said, more than one person told us, on the authority of Sharik, on the authority of Ammar, on the authority of Abu al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, that the Prophet prayed May God bless him and grant him peace. He entered Mecca wearing a black turban. Muhammad said, “And the hadith is this.” Abu Issa said, “The fat woman is from Bajaila and Ammar.” Al-Dahni is Ammar bin Muawiyah Al-Dahni, nicknamed Abu Muawiyah, and he is a Kufi, and he is trustworthy according to the people of hadith.
