Abu Kurayb told us, Waki` told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Abu al-Yaqzan, on the authority of Zazan, on the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said. And a man who calls out the five daily prayers every day and night.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good, strange hadith that we do not know from the hadith of Sufyan.” Al-Thawri, on the authority of Abu Al-Yaqzan, except for the hadith of Waki’, and Abu Al-Yaqzan’s name is Uthman bin Qays, and he is called Ibn Umair, and he is more famous.
