Hadith #28310
Muhammad bin Bashar told us, he said: Abu Asim told us, he said: Haywa bin Shurayh told us, Abu Sakhr told me, he said Nafi’ told me, that Ibn Omar, a man came to him and said, “So-and-so is reciting peace upon you.” So he said to him, “I have been informed that he has done something, so if he has done something, then no.” You extend my greetings to him, for I heard the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, saying, “There will be doubt in this nation or in my nation, whether it is an eclipse, or a distortion, or A slander against the people of destiny. Abu Issa said: This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith. And Abu Sakhr’s name is Humaid bin Ziyad.
