Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28294

Al-Hasan bin Ali Al-Halwani told us, he said: Abdullah bin Numayr and Waki’ told us, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Saad bin Ubaidah, on the authority of Abu Abd Al-Rahman Al-Sulami, on the authority of Ali, said: While we were with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he was sobbing on the ground, he raised his head to Heaven, then he said, “There is not one of you who has not known, and he has said, ‘Wakī’, but it has been decreed that his place is in Hell and his place is in Paradise.’” They said. Shall we not rely, O Messenger of God? He said, “No, do it, for everyone will be facilitated for what he was created for.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and authentic hadith.”
