Hadith #28500
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, Wahb bin Jarir told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Mutarrif, on the authority of his father, that he reached the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he said: (You have been distracted by multiplication.) He said: “The son of Adam says, ‘My wealth is mine, and do you get any of your wealth except what you give in charity?’” “So you went, or you ate, and you did it, or you put on clothes, and you did well.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and authentic hadith.”
