Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29073

Nasr bin Ali Al-Jahdhami told us, he said, Abd al-Samad bin Abd al-Warith told us, he said, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Asim, on the authority of Abu Salih, On the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “The Qur’an will come on the Day of Resurrection and say, ‘O Lord, grant him freedom,’ and he will wear a crown of honor.” Then he says, O Lord, increase him, and he is clothed with a garb of dignity. Then he says, O Lord, be pleased with him, and he is satisfied with him, and it is said to him, Read and rise, and he will increase. “With every verse a good one.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and authentic hadith.” Muhammad ibn Bashar narrated to us, he said, Muhammad ibn Ja’far narrated to us, he said Talk to us Shu’bah, on the authority of Asim bin Bahdala, on the authority of Abu Salih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, something similar but did not narrate it. Abu Issa said, and this is more correct. We have the hadith of Abd al-Samad on the authority of Shu`bah.
