Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28830

Mahmoud bin Ghaylan, Al-Hasan bin Ali, and more than one person narrated to us. They said: Abu Usama narrated to us, on the authority of Burayd bin Abdullah bin Abi Burdah, On the authority of his grandfather, Abu Burdah, on the authority of Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, who said: “Intercede and you will be rewarded, and God will judge me.” His Prophet’s tongue is whatever he wants.” Abu Issa said, “This is a hasan and authentic hadith.” Burayd is also nicknamed Abu Burdah, and he is a trustworthy Kufi. The hadith was narrated by Shu’bah, Al-Thawri and Ibn Uyaynah.
