Hadith #29048
Muhammad ibn Abd al-Malik ibn Abi al-Shawareb told us, he said: Yahya ibn Amr ibn Malik al-Nakri told us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of my father Al-Jawza, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, said: Some of the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, hit his tent on a grave without thinking that it was a grave, and lo, it was in it. A human being He recites Surah Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the kingdom until he concluded it. Then he came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said, O Messenger of God, I placed my tent on a grave and I do not I think it is a grave, so if in it there is a person reciting Surah Blessed be the King until he concluded it. Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “She is the protector, she is the savior, she saves him from the torment of the grave.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and strange hadith from this perspective. And on the authority of Abu Hurairah.
