حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قُلْتُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَوِ اتَّخَذْتَ مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى فَنَزَلَتْ : (وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى ) . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ .
Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, Hushaym told us, Humaid al-Taweel told us, on the authority of Anas, he said, Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, said: I said To the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, if you took the place of Abraham as a prayer place and revealed: (And take the place of Abraham as a prayer place). Abu Issa said: This is a hasan and authentic hadith. On the authority of Ibn Umar.
