Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29178

Abd bin Humaid narrated to us, Yunus bin Muhammad narrated to us, Al-Layth bin Saad narrated to us, on the authority of Hisham bin Saad, on the authority of Muhammad bin Zaid bin Muhajir. Ibn Qunfud al-Taymi, on the authority of Abu Umamah al-Ansari, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Anis al-Juhani, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Indeed, among the greatest sins are associating others with God, disobedience to one’s parents, and a false oath. The one who swears an oath to God is patient, so enter into it a parable. like the wing of a mosquito, but it will be made a mark in his heart until the Day of Resurrection.” Abu Issa and Abu Umamah Al-Ansari said, “He is the son of Alopecia, and we do not know his name. He narrated hadiths on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Abu Issa said: This is a good, strange hadith.
