Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29179

Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Muhammad bin Jaafar narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, on the authority of Firas, on the authority of Al-Sha’bi, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, on the authority of the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He said, “The major sins are associating others with God and being disobedient to one’s parents, or he said, a weak oath.” Shu’bah doubted. He said. Abu Issa, this is a good and authentic hadith.
