Muhammad bin Abdul-Ala al-San’ani told us, Salama bin Raja told us, Al-Walid bin Jamil told us, Al-Qasim Abu Abdul Rahman told us, On the authority of Abu Umamah Al-Bahili, he said: Two men were mentioned to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, one of whom was a worshiper and the other was a scholar. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, “The favor of the scholar over the worshiper is like My favor over the lowest of you.” Then the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Indeed, God, His angels, and His family The heavens and the earth, even the ant in its hole and even the fish, to send blessings upon the good teacher of people. Jesus, this is a good, true, and strange hadith. He said: I heard Abu Ammar Al-Hussein bin Harith Al-Khuza’i saying: I heard Al-Fudayl bin Iyad say: A scholar A worker and teacher who will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
