Hadith #29195
Khallad bin Aslam Al-Baghdadi told us, Al-Nadhar bin Shumail told us, on the authority of Israel, on the authority of Thuwayr bin Abi Fakhta, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ali Ibn Abi Talib, he said, “There is no verse in the Qur’an more beloved to me than this verse: (Indeed, God does not forgive any association with Him, but He forgives anything less than That is for whomsoever He wills.) He said, “This is a good and strange hadith.” Abu Fakhtah’s name is Sa’id ibn Ulaqah, and Thuwayr’s nickname is Abu Jahm, and he is A Kufi man from the Tabi’in. He heard from Ibn Umar and Ibn al-Zubayr. And Ibn Mahdi used to wink at him a little.
