Hadith #29384
Muhammad ibn Wazir al-Wasiti narrated to us, Ishaq ibn Yusuf al-Azraq narrated to us, on the authority of Sufyan al-Thawri, on the authority of Abu Sufyan, on the authority of Abu Nadhrah, on the authority of Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri said: Banu Salamah was in the vicinity of Medina, so they wanted to move to near the mosque, so this verse was revealed. : (Indeed, We bring the dead to life and record what they have put forward and their traces.) Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Your traces will be recorded, so they will not be moved.” He said: This is a good and strange hadith from the hadith of Al-Thawri, and Abu Sufyan is Tarif Al-Saadi.
