Hadith #29444
Abd bin Humayd told us, Abd al-Razzaq told us, on the authority of Muammar, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Anas, he said: The people of Mecca asked the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, a verse, and he was dismayed. The moon was in Mecca twice and it descended: (The Hour has approached and the moon has split open) to his saying: (Continuous magic) He says He was leaving. Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
