Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29443
Hadith #29443
Ali bin Hajar told us, Ali bin Mushar told us, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Abu Muammar, on the authority of Ibn Masoud, may God be pleased with him. He said, “While we were with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, at Mina, the moon split into two parts, one part behind the mountain and one part below it.” He said: To us, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Bear witness.” This means: (The Hour has approached and the moon has split.) He said this is a good and authentic hadith.
