Hadith #29547
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعْدٍ، سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمَرْزُبَانِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، رضى الله عنه قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يُمْسِي رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُرْضِيَهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ‏.‏
Abu Sa`id al-Ashjaj narrated to us, Uqba bin Khalid narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Saad, Sa`id bin al-Marzban, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Thawban, may God be pleased with him He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever says when the evening comes, ‘I am satisfied with God as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad as a prophet’ has truly May God please him.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and strange hadith from this perspective.”
