Hadith #29558
Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman told us, Amr bin Aoun told us, Khalid bin Abdullah told us, on the authority of Suhail, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to command us, when one of us went to bed, to say, “O God, Lord of the heavens.” Lord of the earths, and our Lord, and Lord of all things, and the Creator of love and intentions, and the Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Qur’an, I seek refuge in You from the evil of all evil, You are taking. By his forelock, you are the first, so there is nothing before you, and you are the last, so there is nothing after you, and Al-Zahir, there is nothing above you. And the inner one, for there is nothing besides You. Repay my debt and enrich me from poverty.” Abu Issa said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
