Hadith #29640
Abu Kurayb told us, Yahya bin Adam told us, on the authority of Abu Bakr bin Ayyash, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Amr bin Murrah, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Harith, on the authority of Zuhayr ibn al-Aqmar, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to say, “O God, I seek refuge in You from the heart.” He is not humbled, a supplication is not heard, a soul is not satisfied, and knowledge is not beneficial. I seek refuge in You from these four. He said, and in the chapter on the authority of Jabir And Abu Hurairah and Ibn Masoud said, “This is a hasan, authentic, and strange hadith in this respect from the hadith of Abdullah bin Amr.”
