Hadith #29655
Al-Ansari narrated to us, Ma’an narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Al-Zinad, on the authority of Al-Araj, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “No.” One of you says, “O God, forgive me if you wish, O God, have mercy on me if you wish,” to insist on the issue, for there is no compulsion for him.” He said this is a good and authentic hadith.
