Hadith #29687
Al-Hasan bin Arafa told us, Ismail bin Ayyash told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ziyad, on the authority of Abu Rashid Al-Habrani, he said: I came to Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Asi, so I said to him: Tell us what you heard from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. So he handed me a newspaper and said, “This is what The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, wrote to me and said, “I looked in it and found in it that Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with him, said, O Messenger of God, teach me what to say when In the morning and in the evening, he said, “O Abu Bakr, say, O God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen. There is no god but You, Lord of everything and its Sovereign. I seek refuge in You from the evil of myself and from the evil of Satan and his company, and from committing evil upon myself or the reward of it. “To a Muslim.” He said, “This is a hasan ghareeb hadith from this perspective.”
