Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29714
Hadith #29714
Muhammad bin Bashar told us, Ibn Abi Adi told us, he said: Ja’far bin Maymun, the author of Al-Anmatat, told us on the authority of Abu Uthman Al-Nahdi, on the authority of Salman Al-Farisi, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Indeed, God is Ever-loving and Generous. He is ashamed if a man raises his hands to Him.” He will return them empty-handed and disappointed.” Abu Issa said, “This is a good and strange hadith. Some of them narrated it but did not attribute it.”
