Hadith #29716
Muhammad bin Bashar narrated to us, Abu Amir Al-Aqdi narrated to us, Zuhair, who is the son of Muhammad, narrated to us on the authority of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, that Muadh bin Rifa'ah told him on the authority of his father. He said: Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq stood up on the pulpit and then cried and said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, rose. The first year he greeted him on the pulpit, then he cried and said, “Ask God for forgiveness and well-being, for no one has been given anything better than well-being after certainty.” He said: This is a hasan ghareeb hadith from this perspective, on the authority of Abu Bakr, may God be pleased with him.
