Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29743

Abu Amr, Muslim bin Amr, the Medinan shoe, told us, Abdullah bin Nafi’ told me, on the authority of Hammad bin Abi Humayd, on the authority of Amr bin Shuaib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “The best supplication is the supplication on the Day of Arafat, and the best that I and the prophets said.” “Before me, there is no god but God alone, with no partner to Him. To Him belongs dominion and to Him is praise, and He has power over all things.” He said, “This is a hasan ghareeb hadith.” From this perspective, Hammad bin Abi Humaid is Muhammad bin Abi Humaid, and he is Abu Ibrahim Al-Ansari Al-Madani, not him. According to the people of hadith, he is strong.
