حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْكُوفِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمَكَّةَ فَخَرَجْنَا فِي بَعْضِ نَوَاحِيهَا فَمَا اسْتَقْبَلَهُ جَبَلٌ وَلاَ شَجَرٌ إِلاَّ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ . وَرَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ وَقَالُوا عَنْ عَبَّادٍ أَبِي يَزِيدَ مِنْهُمْ فَرْوَةُ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَغْرَاءِ .
Abbad bin Yaqoub Al-Kufi told us, Al-Walid bin Abi Thawr told us, on the authority of Al-Suddi, on the authority of Abbad bin Abi Yazid, on the authority of Ali bin Abi Talib, He said: I was with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in Mecca, so we went out to some of its outskirts, but not a mountain or tree met him except while he was saying: Peace be upon you, O Messenger of God. He said this is a strange hadith. More than one person narrated it on the authority of Al-Walid ibn Abi Thawr, and they said on the authority of Abbad Abi Yazid Among them is Farwa bin Abi Al-Mughra’.
