Hadith #37915
He said, Rasulullah (may peace be upon him) mentioned standing on the pulpit and refraining from giving charity and laying hands (to people). وقيل: اليد العليا خير من اليد السفلى. The upper hand is the giver and the lower hand is the receiver (beggar). (البخاري، مسلم) [1]
