Hadith #38254
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عبَّاسٍ أَنَّه دَفَعَ مَعَ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فَسَمِعَ النَّبِىُّ ﷺ وَرَاءَه زَجْرًا شَدِيدًا وَضَرْبًا لِلْإِبِلِ فَأَشَارَ بِسَوْطِه إِلَيْهِمْ وَقَالَ: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ فَإِنَّ الْبِرَّ لَيْسَ بِالْإِيضَاعِ. رَوَاهُ البُخَارِىُّ
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he fought with the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, on the Day of Arafat, and the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, heard behind him a severe rebuke and a beating of camels, so he pointed his whip at them. He said: O people, you must remain calm, for righteousness does not come from neglect. Narrated by Al-Bukhari
