قال: فلما ماتت ابنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بكى النساء. فضربهم عمر (رضي الله عنه) بسوطه. وفي هذا الموقف عزل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عمر فقال: عمر! وقال للنساء: احفظن أصواتكن عن الشيطان (أي لا تصرخن وتبكين). ثم قال: "ما يخرج من العين (الدموع) والقلب (الحزن والأسى) فمن الله". فإنه من الرحمة، وما يخرج من اليد والفم فهو من الشيطان. (أحمد) [1]
He said, When the daughter of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) died, the women began to cry. Umar (RA) struck them with his whip. In this situation Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) removed 'Umar and He said, 'Umar! be gentle And he said to the women, Keep your voices away from Shaytaan (i.e. do not shout and cry). Then he said, "Whatever comes out of the eyes (tears) and the heart (sorrow and grief) comes from Allah." It is of mercy due to And whatever comes out of the hand and mouth is from Satan. (Ahmed) [1]
