Hadith #40026
'Umar, the son of' Umar, the son of 'Aas, said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) stood in the Farewell Pilgrimage with one of the people asking him, and a man came to him and said: I did not feel, so I shaved before I was slaughtered. He said: He sacrificed and did not embarrass, so he came again and said: I did not feel, so I slit my throat before I threw. He said: Throw or not embarrass. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked about something that had been provided and I would not delay except saying: Do it or not embarrass\ n and in a narration for a Muslim: A man came to him and said: I shaved before I threw. He said, "Throw and do not embarrass," and another came to him, and he said, "I went to the house before I threw." He said: Throw and do not be embarrassed. (Agreed upon)
