He said, ``Umar Ibnul Khattab (RA) did not see Sulaiman (my father) in the Salat of Fajr. Umar went to the market in the morning. Sulaiman's house is between the masjid and the market. He passed Sulaiman's mother Shifa and asked what happened today I did not see Sulaiman in Fajr congregation! Sulaiman's mother replied, Sulaiman spent the whole night in prayer. So sleep won over him. ``Umar (RA) said, "I bear witness that it is nearer to me than I stand in prayer all night." Participating in the Fajr Salat congregation is preferred. (Owner) [1]
