Hadith #46353
وعن سهل بن سعد رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ثنتان لا تردان، أو قلما تردان‏:‏ الدعاء عند النداء وعند البأس حين يلحم بعضهم بعضًا‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Sahl bin Saad, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said “There are two things that are not rejected, or are rarely rejected: supplication at the time of the call and at the time of battle when they are fighting one another” ((Narrated by Abu Dawud with an authentic chain of transmission)).
