حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَاصِلٌ الأَحْدَبُ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْمَعْرُورَ بْنَ سُوَيْدٍ يَقُولُ: رَأَيْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ وَعَلَيْهِ حُلَّةٌ وَعَلَى غُلاَمِهِ حُلَّةٌ، فَسَأَلْنَاهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي سَابَبْتُ رَجُلاً فَشَكَانِي إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، فَقَالَ لِيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: أَعَيَّرْتَهُ بِأُمِّهِ؟ قُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِنَّ إِخْوَانَكُمْ خَوَلُكُمْ، جَعَلَهُمُ اللَّهُ تَحْتَ أَيْدِيكُمْ، فَمَنْ كَانَ أَخُوهُ تَحْتَ يَدَيْهِ فَلْيُطْعِمْهُ مِمَّا يَأْكُلُ، وَلْيُلْبِسْهُ مِمَّا يَلْبَسُ، وَلاَ تُكَلِّفُوهُمْ مَا يَغْلِبُهُمْ، فَإِنْ كَلَّفْتُمُوهُمْ مَا يَغْلِبُهُمْ فَأَعِينُوهُمْ.
Adam narrated to us, he said: Shu’bah narrated to us, he said: Wasil Al-Ahdab narrated to us, he said: I heard Al-Ma’roor bin Suwayd saying: I saw Abu Dharr He is wearing a robe, and his servant is wearing a robe. We asked him about that, and he said: I insulted a man, and he complained about me to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he said: Why did the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, tell me: Did you lend him his mother? I said: Yes, then he said: Your brothers are your nobles, may God place them under your hands, so who was His brother is under his hands. Let him feed him with whatever he eats, and clothe him with whatever he wears, and do not burden them with what is too much for them. You assigned them what would be difficult for them, so help them.
