Hadith #52202
On the authority of Abu Ishaq, he said: A man said to Al-Baraa: O Abu Ammarah, you fled on the day of Hunayn. He said: No, by God, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not take charge of me. But the young men of his companions came out, not armed with much, and they met a group of archers whose arrows hardly hit them, so they pelted them with a volley of arrows. They almost made a mistake, so they came there to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was riding on his white mule. Abu Sufyan bin Al-Harith was leading him, so he descended and sought victory and said, “I am the Prophet. He is not lying. I am Ibn Abdul-Muttalib.” Then he lined them up. Narrated by Muslim. Al-Bukhari has its meaning, and in a narration of theirs, Al-Baraa said: By God, when the battle was reddened, we would protect ourselves from it, and the bravest among us is the one who faces it, meaning the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. May God bless him and grant him peace
