أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهِ عَنْهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :" أَرَأَيْتُمْ لَوْ أَنَّ نَهَرًا بِبَاب : أَحَدِكُمْ يَغْتَسِلُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ خَمْسَ مَرَّاتٍ، مَاذَا تَقُولُونَ ذَلِكَ مُبْقِيًا مِنْ دَرَنِهِ؟ " قَالُوا : لَا يُبْقِي مِنْ دَرَنِهِ.
قَالَ : " كَذَلِكَ مَثَلُ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ، يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِهِنَّ الْخَطَايَا ".
قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ : حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عِنْدِي أَصَحُّ
Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Yazid bin Abdullah told me, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ibrahim, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, said that he heard the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, say: “Have you seen that if there was a river at a gate: one of you He washes five times every day.
