أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، وَحَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ الْأَحْوَلُ ، قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ : عَامِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَكْحُولٌ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ مُحَيْرِيزٍ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ أَبَا مَحْذُورَةَ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" عَلَّمَهُ الْأَذَانَ تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ كَلِمَةً، وَالْإِقَامَةَ سَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ كَلِمَةً "
Abu Al-Walid Al-Tayalisi and Hajjaj bin Al-Minhal told us, saying: Hammam told us, Aamir Al-Ahwal told us, Hajjaj said in his hadith : Aamer ibn Abd al-Wahid, he said: Makhoul narrated to me, that Ibn Muhayriz narrated to him, that Abu Mahdhurah narrated to him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace May God bless him and grant him peace. “He taught him the call to prayer is nineteen words, and the Iqamat is seventeen words.”
