Hadith #54085
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ :" إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ، فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ ".
قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّد : هَذَا عِنْدِي عَلَى التَّأْخِيرِ إِذَا تَأَذَّوْا بِالْحَرِّ
Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Ibn Shihab told me, on the authority of Sa’id bin Al-Musayyab, and Abu Salamah bin Abdul Rahman On the authority of Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “When the heat is severe, cool off with prayer, for the severity of the heat is a Hellfire.” Abu Muhammad said: This is my opinion regarding the delay if they are harmed by the heat.
