Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #54142

Wahb bin Jarir told us, Hisham told us, on the authority of Yahya, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ibrahim, on the authority of Khalid bin Ma’dan, on the authority of Irbad bin Sariyah, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to “ask forgiveness for the first row three times, and once for the second row.” Al-Hasan bin told us Ali, Al-Hasan bin Musa Al-Ashib told us, on the authority of Shayban, on the authority of Yahya, on the authority of Muhammad bin Ibrahim, on the authority of Khalid bin Ma’dan, on the authority of Jubayr bin Nufayr, on the authority of Irbad bin Sariyah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and something similar.
