Sunan ad-Darimi — Hadith #54184

Marwan bin Muhammad told us, Saeed bin Abdul Aziz told us, on the authority of Atiya bin Qais, on the authority of Qaza, on the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, He said: Whenever the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, would raise his head from bowing, he would say: “Our Lord, to You belongs all praise, filling the heavens and filling the earth. And fill whatever you wish with anything after that, people of praise and glory, the most deserving of what a servant says, and we are all your servants. Oh God, there is no objection to what you have given, and no He is willing to give what you withhold, and your diligence will not benefit you.”
