حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ رَأَى أُنَاسًا يُصَلُّونَ صَلَاةَ الضُّحَى، فَقَالَ : " أَمَا إِنَّهُمْلَيُصَلُّونَ صَلَاةً مَا صَلَّاهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلَا عَامَّةُ أَصْحَابِهِ "
Sadaqa bin Al-Fadl narrated to us, Muadh bin Muadh narrated to us, Shu’bah narrated to us, on the authority of Al-Fudayl bin Fadalah, on the authority of Abd Al-Rahman bin Abi Tomorrow, his father saw people praying the Duha prayer, and he said: “They are not praying a prayer that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not pray.” And neither did most of his companions.
